Should I get him an electric shaver, or a proper razor?
He's just got long straggly hairs starting on his chin and neck, and a bit of a moustache coming too. It's not yet really thick facial hair, but more like 'bum fluff'.

Any advice is most welcome....I'm clueless, and have thankfully not got a beard myself yet.

Theres lots of tutorials on there, ds has one fluffly hair on his top lip and in his head he has a full moustacheGrin
Hes been watching vids ready to shave it when its ready about three years then

Do you know, I didn't even think of YouTube! Thanks.

Not sure still about razor or shaver.... Any thoughts?

DH says shaver because it's much harder to cut yourself.

That's what I was thinking!
Thanks.

Mine all wet shave (cleaner look) but all have an electric shaver as a back up for hectic mornings etc.

Mine (22 and 18) both use a cheap electric shaver... DS1 has a beard currently so just trims it and a ridiculous 'three muskateers' moustache but DS2 is fairer and patchy..and has autism and learning disabilities so electric was the only way.. he does what he can and I do the bits he misses Grin

Just had exactly the same with ds1. Boots do a vvv simple Phillips shaver which he thought would be ok, it worked a treat.

Great. Thanks very much everyone.
Will have a look at a simple electric shaver for now, and maybe progress to a proper wet razor in a year or two.

Appreciate your help!
