What will your 13/14 year olds be doing in the holidays?

As the title asks, what will your 13/14 year olds be doing in the holidays - seeing friends a lot or are they are they the opposite and hibernate - just being noisy really.

My DD's close friends are lovely, but a nightmare to meet up with in the holidays - she's having a sleepover a couple of times with one but that's it. Three other girls who she knows have asked if they can meet up with her, so I'm encouraging that.

DD loves reading, craft, playing an instrument and chatting with friends on social media, and is happy inside. Equally she's happy outside and will do a bike ride or walk with me.

We'll go camping and probably do a couple of day trips together, as well as meeting up with Grannies, shopping in town and may be go swimming.

My DS is going on a drama course which he is really looking forward to. I have also booked for him to go the theatre one day (which he doesn't know
about)

Maybe he will meet up with friends?

We are also going on holiday for a week.

He will be out. Either at the park,the lido or the shops. He will leave the house at about 11am and I will probably see him for dinner in the evening.

He's really self sufficient. Unlike his DB (16) who hardly leaves the house.

Quite a lot of mooching around his room on the xbox I suspect.
Also some camping/hiking if the weathers nice.
Cricket. There'll be a lot of that.
We're on holiday for a week as well.
There'll be a few day trips out.

Dd doesn't have any local friends to socialise with She's doing a couple of dance summer schools & will probably spend the rest of the time going shopping, texting, facebook ing & watching past episodes of The Arrow.

We're on week 3 in Scotland, dd is 13.
First week, saw her local friends a couple of times, went to see her bf in different city twice.
Week two, away on a sailing trip with Young Carers.
Week three, so far mooching in her room and doing spring cleaning for me, off to see her bf at the weekend.
Next week, no idea but we are doing an overnight in another city with my friend and her dd's.

She finishes a week today. First week is fully booked with a sleepover, a friend's birthday, my birthday (she has promised to make me a cake because she can't afford a present!), visit from Grannie.

She's really looking forward to it!

My 13 yr old (14 in Sept) dd will be on Scout camp for about 10 days. She's hoping to go and stay with my Aunt (her replacement Grandma) for a few days.
She will be loitering in her room thinking she's tidying it, but really just faffing around for a few days, while I say 'We can do this/taht/the other when your room is tidy'
We'll do a couple of little 'trips'... maybe a picnic with the cousins, or a hike or overnight camp with her Dad, or she's into the idea of being 'a lady who lunches' with me, and we'll probably go strawberry picking one day if any left.
She'll no doubt go swimming with her school mates once or twice, but it will take them a week and about 1000 messages to arrange this, so not as much happens as they think will happen at the start of the holidays.

My dd will probably alternate between watching the originals and vampire diaries on netflix on her tablet and going out with her friends to the park and each others houses. We are going away for a Haven break for a week and she also has her little brother aged 3 to keep her busy! If I let her she would be head down in the tablet earphones plugged in the whole time.....!!

My ds is going for milkshakes and cakes in a cafe with his friends straight after school on the last day, then they're going to the park. He's got a few days planned where he just wants to chill and play his xbox. We'll have a couple of "sofa days" together too where we'll watch dvds and random youtube videos, and eat lots of popcorn. I think he's planning on putting the tent up in the garden and having some friends round for camp-outs, and he'll probably get his old paddling pool out if it gets hot (it's quite big and they all sit in it listening to music, and float snacks and drinks on a bodyboard in the middle and look like they're pretending it's a hot tub!) He might arrange to meet up with friends and play footie or go to the cinema or swimming, but they normally only organise stuff like that the day before. He's also going away to cadet annual camp for a week, then we're going abroad for a fortnight on a big family holiday, then going to visit family in the uk for a long weekend. He pretty much arranges his own social life now, and only needs me for money, food, lifts, laundry and help in emergencies!!
