My friend is bringing her son over at Christmas (he's 13yrs actually I think he's nearly 14yrs) I wanted to get him a small £5 present to go on the tree so he has something to open with the other children. Any ideas? I don't think he's particularly into sport...I don't even know where to start (my ds is 22months!)

THANKS!

DSS Likes smellies (lynx), He's asked for a phlat ball (a flat ball thing that you chuck and turns into a ball) £4.99 at amazon, gadgets (wind up radio/torch/phone charger (woolworths), books or a voucher?

DS is just 15... he likes book tokens. He also loves Green and Blacks chocolate.

My son is 14 he likes music so maybe a cd single would be good

Disposable camera so he can take silly photos. Novelty keyring (M&S do a mini cooper one). Beanie hat from Next. Anything to do with practical jokes.

Generally the more revolting you think something is, the better he will like it!
Anything they can fiddle with.

WH Smith have spaceman gyroscopes - they look brilliant - part of a whole range of stuff from the science museum. They're £7.99 but part of the prom - buy 3 gifts get cheapest one free.
