Is this is now?? Is it going to grow back all bristly and proper? Is he going to be a Youth With Facial Hair now??

Oh crikey I need valium.. he is just my little 14-and-four-month son! And this so soon on the heels of the Premium-Sex-Lines-Phone-Fiasco...

They should put the teenage stuff in the pregnancy books so we can be preparing from right when they are born. I am Not Ready for all this.. I was 14 what feels like only yesterday!!!

I thought he'd just get another bumfluff moustache in about a month and have to shave it again then.

Unlike leg hairs seems to take a lot longer to thicken up.

I hope you're managing to cope

NO experience of the teenage bit myself cos ds is only 2 and is obviously gonna stay that way forever

  • When you decide to have a baby, you only really think about having a baby, don't you. Then you suddenly have a school child, and that's a whole new ball game. Then a teenager, and... .

Oh I hope so Caboose.. I can't emotionally deal with his shaving yet!

oh good for him though....nothing worse than bumfluff!!!!

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 14/11/2006 11:08

JackieNo, No! If you're not there yet, just don't torture yourself, it's not worth it.

But the bumfluff was almost invisible.. I am worried there will be stubble now!

What, you mean my gorgeous, cheeky 4 year old boy who wants to live with his mumm forever will shave one day?

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 14/11/2006 11:35

Yes Northerner. And he will surf porn. Or phone sex lines. Or both. Sorry about that..

lol this made me laugh.

my ds1 who is now just 15 has been shaving since he was 11/12.has been shaving every day for about a year and a half.

If he doesn't shave every day he looks like a greasy unwashed thing.

My dp was the same at his age tho so ds2 will probs have to shave soon too(he's 11 in december.

northerner · 14/11/2006 16:30

Porn and sex lines?

No no no no no no no. He doesn't even like girls, told me so himself. They smell.

Loshad · 21/11/2006 10:08

or tell his mother about his new girlfriend - "she's so fit mum", great - obviously a real intellectual pairing then and no lust involved whatsoever

Saturn74 · 21/11/2006 10:13

La la la la la

My eldest son is nearly 11, and he won't ever have a furry face will he.... and like 'other women'?
