Midnight has just struck, and my younger DD has just turned 18... So now feeling a mixture of pride in the wonderful young woman she is, and slightly wistful for the end of her childhood.

My little one was 33 yesterday. She's wonderfully grown up and in charge of everything but she still needs her mummy sometimes.

That's good to know MrsTwee. Mine is so much more confident than I was at her age - yet I know she still needs our support. We can pat ourselves on the back and tell ourselves we've done a pretty good job when we launch them into the world!
