Where does everyone buy skinny school trousers for their dd? Dd14 is about 5'5 and wears a size 8 from DP for example. I don't want to spend too much, as she's growing all the time. There's some on Amazon, but not sure of the quality - and I don't want to buy something with "sexy" in the description Hmm Confused

I got my DD some from next, she is 14 but a bit taller at 5'8" so I got her age 16 slim fit ones from their school uniform section and they fit really well, they do have a bit of a sheen to them though and unfortunately need an iron.

New look have these really nice trousers with gold zips, they're called jambrès I think? Smile

Thanks I'll have a look.

Dd insists no zips! I saw some great ones in Peacocks today, but she didn't like the gold zips Shock

DD, age 15, size 8, about 5' 6", will only wear New Look ones. No zips on them. They might be considered jeans though. You can get them online.

KCAMum, are these the ones you mean?

Sainsburys Tu have them made from soft cotton.

Does she wear a school jumper? If so she might not even be able to see the gold zips on them.

Luckily for me DD wears a kilt! But I asked her now what her cousin wears as they were having a discussion when we last saw them. Unfortunately, they are called "Miss Sexies". I agree, the name of them could have been a bit more appropriate!

No, no school jumper.

I found some at h&m in the end, they look more like leggings/jeggings/treggings to me, but she says they're fine.
