Quick backstory, DD who is 16 this yr has always been hard work, she steals money from us, my make up if I leave it out, money of her 11 yr old sister etc, can be mouthy, cant get her to tidy or help without huge fights, does stupid things to get attention like fakes injury or will say she was hit by us/someone outside etc. She has seen ppl about all of this, but she just refuses to tell the truth to anyone.
So, she stole money this week, didn't ask for money as if she had I would have given her it, said she didn't know why she did it, same as always. So she was grounded for 3 days. I asked her yesterday to put the clean bedding on I gave her, tidy her clothes up and sort the bedroom, she asked if she could go out if she did and I said if she did it she was allowed out for a few hours after half day school the following day, that was at 5pm, 10.30pm it wasn't done and it was time for lights out, she kicked up a big fuss as I said she wasn't going as she didn't do as she was asked.
She came down this morning and said see you tomorrow, im staying at my friends, when I said no she kicked off screaming she never wants to be home because of us etc and she wasn't coming home. She did return at lunchtime, I was on the phone , she asked something and I said I am on the phone can you please wait, well she kicked off again saying she was packing her stuff and going and I couldn't stop her. I got off the phone and said she wasn't leaving and her reply, what are you going to do, punch me in the face to stop me!
I just don't know what to do any more, she has moments where shes lovely and fun to be with, but right now its all her screaming/lying and starting fights with her DS and little DB. I hate to say it, but I just don't want to be around her any more because she kicks off like that. Its not just with us, she struggles to keep and make friends because she does this, then the friends she is with act like this and she just does the same, shes not interested in how she makes the rest of us feel.
