My 12 YO DD started secondary school last September, she has ASD and is in a mainstream school with and Autism specific special needs unit, which she has a place in. She does many lessons in the MS part of the school, so is mixing with NT children.

Now my silly question! As the weather is warmer and its not going to be tights weather! what do your daughters wear? she wears a smart uniform (blazer/shirt/tie) I was thinking of just getting her some plain black socks or possibly some frilly black socks, would this be ok?

She wont wear trousers btw, be so much easier if she would!

Black opaques all year round. Unless it is REALLY hot and then trainer socks so it looks like none at all!

The frilly socks are very popular here. The girls wear white or black ones with their school shoes.
