Pregnant 17 year old daughter

Help- my daughter is pregnant- i am trying to be supportive but i am crying inside- can anyone help me with this thank you xx

Oh Fifi I don't have any experience of this... It's good that you are being supportive. You've had a shock. Schedule a visit to the docs to discuss options? Does DD know what she wants to do? x

I have no experience either, I would be very upset too if it was my DD. But I was myself at that age and my parents were amazing which I will always be grateful for. They never pressured me either way, never lectured me, just supported me. Even though my Mum later admitted they were terrified and thought they would end up raising the baby. My bf parents were the opposite and tried to force me to abort. No matter how hard it is you are doing the right thing being supportive. It's not ideal but it isn't the end of the world and can still have a brilliant life and do well.

I have no experience but I think you are doing the right thing by being supportive no matter what you are feeling. Let her know that you are there for her whatever she decides.

And remember that she has been able to come to you and tell you. That is something in itself.
