Am I just too old to be on Mumsnet?

Hi all!
Just curious..... My kids are 15 and 19 but I had them in my 40s. I feel too old for mumsnet but not old enough for U3A. Are there any other older Mums around? I know I'll always be a Mum but I do feel a bit of a fraud on here as I'm old enough to retire and get my works pension lol What do other people do when they hit 60? Tardis

I wish, Mary! I have proof though (well nearly!):

I am 62 and my children are 40, 38 and 22. I joined mumsnet when dd (the youngest) was being bullied in her teens and I have been involved with the Higher Education thread when she was applying and then going to uni. I read lots of different threads and have had my mind broadened by some!

I hope at some time that I will have grandchildren although neither of my two boys are likely to have any children - but you never know. I know dd wants children but not yet as she has just started teaching and is hoping to get married in 2016. I will keep coming back.
