This evening, I borrowed my son's computer to,print off some stuff. I was getting annoyed by the pop-up adds, and started looking to how to eradicate them.

During this process, I glanced at 'history' and notice there was several entries for ''10 sex positions...' Or something like this. On further investigation, I noticed that there were more 'sex' entries, a week ago, ( (coincidently when I was out of the house), and a few random ones over the last few weeks.

I don't know whether ds has clicked on pages which friends are circulating on Facebook, and to take the view, boys will be boys, or whether to consider it more seriously.

I think I'll keep a careful eye on his history, and see if there is any more . I don't think they are heavy porn sites, but I was a bit surprised to see them.

What do you think?
( and I've turned to a packet of chocolate buttons and a glass of red wine to cheer me up)

Sounds entirely age appropriate to me. Do you talk to him about relationships and sex? Have you talked about porn and how unrealistic and damaging it is? Respect for your own and other people's bodies?

You could have prevented this if you had pre-installed the Littlewoods catalogue...

The only surprising thing about your post is the word, "possibly". A 14 year old boy wanting to find out about sex? Hold the front page Shock

This sounds like normal inquisitive sexual development. Boys have a little explore. The majority also understand it's not normal sex. Your child's becoming an adulesent , that's good. Don't worry and don't tell him you've found the sites. It could cause him to become more secretive. .

Sounds normal to me, a lot of 14 year olds are becoming interested in sex.

Girls of a similar age may be reading Cosmopolitan magazine www.cosmopolitan.co.uk/love-sex/ or Marie Claire www.marieclaire.com/sex-love/advice/best-sex-positions

Thanks for your replies. I think I just freaked out a little when I saw the links to the pages. It's just normal teenage curiosity, although I will check from time to time in the future tocheck he is not accessing too dodgy sites. Good advice about not confronting him ( unless the sites get a lot more risqué/frequent).

Sometimes it comes as a shock to realise your children are growing up.
