Ds3 has decided against a suit - the job is a runner (not allowed to be a waiter as he's not 18 Confused (he's not actually even 16 yet so couldn't start for another 2 weeks). He's going for smart casual - but does that mean tie or no tie?

The rest is chinos, brogues and collared shirt (not sure whether to go for a dark cardigan in place of blazer which he hasn't got or his navy suit jacket

No tie, rest sounds fine. He needs to prove that he's reliable and pleasant.

Clean clothing, neat hair, clean hands/face and shiny shoes. Big smile and the job will be his. He needs to look like he's made an effort.
