Support and Ideas needed for CHILD MISSING website

I am one woman who is trying to set up a website to support parents and families who's children go missing regularly and are involved in drugs and alcohol abuse and behaviour issues etc.All ideas will be greatly welcomed as the website is for all you parents out there who need support and to not feel so alone

It's your forum as much as theirs. I think the site is a great idea. I will print off some flyers. I have a close friend whose teenage daughter disappeared for 2 weeks and will never forget what she went through.

May I correct a earlier miss leading comment? On a totally unrelated thread, I said That I have suffered deeply by my child going missing. This is true but is resolved now and I am so sorry if anyone was left with the impression that I am suffering now because I have a missing child.

No problem mmad. There's a fair bit of pot/kettle/black around here. Funny how my first post on that thread predicted exactly what would happen. Oh, and I still haven't been offered a single link to challenge what I was saying about that poster's obnoxiousness and lack of empathy. Oh well, there you go. So glad you got through it.

Marslady thank you for well wishes, as I said I am sorry for confussion. It was 6 years ago and most awfull time, I never thought we'd get through it but we did, Lots of issues were then talked about and somehow maybe only as parent and child can do we manage to salvage something from it all, We still have our moments but generally its good and I am very proud of her

This is why I am determined to help firstly Runkid, and then anyone who is going through the same thing its very lonely experience..
