You may have seen my other thread about dd wanting to have sex with bf. I thought a book may help, anyone any suggestions please? I'd like a non-religeous one that's frank and perhaps a little off-putting :)

Thanks

I think your fourteen year old may be a bit past sex ed books.

Websites are your best bet. Scarleteen is excellent. There was a brilliant site done by the BBC called Slink too. It doesn't exist anymore, but Googling it will bring up similar things.

I'd second Salazar's recommendation of 'Scarleteen': very responsible and comprehensive.

Can I recommend the Rough Guide to Girls' Stuff which is an excellent book for teenage girls covering a really wide range of areas of life (friends, school, future career, sexuality). It is not for the prudish but I think the advice is spot on.
