DS has Gay porn (should I be worried?)

I went into my DSs room to remove plates, cups ect and found 2 gay porn magazines under his bed!! He is 16 years old. Should I say anything?

Yes tell him to take his own plates to the kitchen - you're not his skivvy.

Why was he keeping the plates and cups under the bed? Terribly unsanitary.

What's worrying you OP, the fact its porn or that its gay porn?

Every family should have a "no going into anyone's bedroom without knocking -ever" rule.

But it might be a good idea to make sure he has opportunities to talk I uninterrupted to you or his dad or another trusted adult if you can do it without it being clunkingly obvious.

Oh, and it's OK to secretly hope your son is not gay. Don't feel bad if you do. But do everything in your power to make sure he doesn't realize that.

Maybe steer him toward bi-porn as it provides variety not available in homo or indeed hetero sexual magazines. He still at such tender age and imho it isn't wise to close ones self off to the possibilities that either gender may have to offer him sexually. After all isn't everyone somewhere on a continuum between gay and straight?

PS It might be easier to direct him toward using the internet as nich porn can be hard to acquire in magazine format.
