Boyfriends.. how old was your dd?

Dd1 seems to have acquired a boyfriend she's in year 9 and 14. I am not too fussed but dh thinks she's too young. I am sure I had a boyfriend at 14. None of her friends seem to have one so not sure what the usual age is

My dd went off to normandy with dh last year for a father daughter bonding trip and to learn more about WW2.
She came back with a boyfriend! Not sure how that happened but dh caught them kissing on the coach!

Thankfully he lived a while away, it was all very harmless anyway they text and sent emails for a while but it fizzled out. DD said he was too immature
I had dd at 17 so Im very paranoid about this sort of stuff, i wouldn't want her to go through what i went through. This was a year ago when she was 13, no interest in anyone else so I'm hoping it stays that way. I have told dd there is plenty of time for boys, no rush.
Easier said than done i know!
