They cross a road verrrrrrrry slowwwwwwwwly in front of traffic????
God they drive me mad when they do it and if you dare to tell them to open their eyes whilst crossing a road they turn and give you the finger
And why do i stoop to their level and flick them one right back?

I turn into Scary Middle Aged Woman and say things like "no then, you might want to consider getting a move on if you don't want to get run over" and they think I'm a cross between their mother and a mad old woman so they just look sulky usually.

Best trick is to look completely calm and unconcerned and then hoot loudly just after you pass them. They jump very satisfactorily

They'd probably jump even more if you weren't in a car

They do it to prove they can stop the traffic. Its a control thing I reckon. I just laugh at em and rev the engine. eheheh

I got told by my children that some do it deliberately to see how many drivers they can get to toot at them.

i just smile and wave at them, it really throws them

also think one day my son would be like that! and think of their mummys
