he's got a girlfriend my baby(ok he's 14) but I am in distress here lol
knowing that age it will last a day

give him condoms then - hes not going to buy them unless supremely confident - i think you are a little naive.

Not to scare you or anything 2shoes, but I can clearly remember most of my friends loosing their virginities at 14 (not that I was there). Some may have been lying but others were not. BTW I wasn't one of them.

It's funny though that now that I'm 24 when I see my 14yr old relatives etc I think (as most other people) AWWWW he has a little gf. Then I remember what it was like when I was 14 and have the sickening realisation that it may not be as innocent as I would like to think.

Not sujesting that it is the same for your son though as there are some children out there who do remain 'children'. (like I was)

good god give the poor boy a chance he hasn't even been on a date yet. he is well versed on safe sex and I can assure you I will be monitoring the situation.
but lets just enjoy the idea of the first rush of excitement when you get your first girlfriend/boyfriend.
I have to say I wish i had never started this thread. it was only ever supposed to be a proud mum in shock not a sex debate. I am 45 so know my stuff.

I met my OH at 12 & we've been together ever since! (He was 14).

However, to reassure you all of my friends had the kind of last a few days / weeks type of boyfriend girlfriend at that age.

2shoes - have a ds age 14, is all bmx's, footie, ps2 etc. think if i said 'hey mate, here's some condoms for when you meet a nice lass', he'd think i'd lost my last marble or two

Custardo - I'll be getting my dd to read that - she's only 14 but one of the mature kind of 14y olds...

Thinking I might just give her some condoms "just in case" but then - she'd probably waste them by playing tricks on her mates with them (water bomb/handbag in condom)

yes willow - at least i do. my son used to girls calling for him in gangs! and they used to sit outside my house until gone 11pm staring at his window.

i used to say " some greasy haired sluts called for you today."

or to girls outside " don't be so bloody pathetic - go home"
