Duke of Edinburgh skills?

DD1 doing DoE bronze this year and has physical sorted and ideas for volunteering but no ideas for skills!
She has mentioned cooking, swimming and photography as options but no idea what is required or how to measure it
Any help and ideas would be much appreciated!

My DS did swimming as a physical activity, and music as a skill for his Bronze. The Duke of Edinburgh website is hard to navigate but it’s quite helpful. If you go to this page there are links to suggestions on the right-hand side of the screen and they give examples. It doesn't just have to be creative arts, there can be animal care, performance, life skills, or science too. Photography sounds like a great idea!

Dfiance is head of dofe at school and says swimming would be more for the physical but cooking or photography would be fine. She needs to find someone that will assess her - cooking maybe her food tech teacher/ leader and bring in things she has cooked on a maybe weekly basis to show she has improved. The same with photography but maybe an art teacher?

My DS did swimming for his 'physical' but used his instrument learning for his skill. A friend's daughter started learning British Sign Language - although I think that was for her Silver. There are lots of suggestions on the DofE website as Kleinzeit says, you just have to be creative about how you log the learning and progress and be able to get someone to sign it off who has witnessed the activity/results over the 3 or 6 months if you do something that is not part of a class/group.

Now handing back to DD to sort - which is the while idea I think
