Should I let my son be a Michael Jackson fan?

My son wants to listen to a Michael Jackson album but i'm not sure If I feel comfortable letting him endorse such a sick and twisted man. I know he argues that it's about the music, but I just don't want his essence or image in my home.

Should I stick to my guns and ban any Michael Jackson content? or should he be allowed to listen to it?

I think Michael Jackson was a tragic but hugely talented performer - the likes of we might not see for a long time. I'd be happy for my son to listen to his music.

It's not something we have ever encouraged in this house. I can't stand to even look at any of his videos any more let alone listen to any of his music. Thankfully ds doesn't listen to his music as it's 'old.'
