Argh. So against all the little girls must wear shorts if they want to do handstands ...but have my own thread now lol

2dds one gets rubbed thighs under a dress ( size12-14) so wears her spanx in the summer which must be hot... The other is size 8 and won't wear a short floaty frock for fear of a "marylin moment".

We need cheap but nice ( no horribly made seams to rub) cotton ish cycle shorts. But where ?

M&S would have apparently done a 2 pack that would fit the youngest, except they have to change everything far too often and it's ow a single short at £8 with long legs nearly to the knee!size 12-13 is ok though.

eBay cheap shiny Lycra - not what's needed..

Can you help ?

I got cotton ones on Ebay by searching for safety shorts.

I got some nice soft cotton ones for DD a couple of years ago in Tesco in the uniform section - 2 pairs in a pack for £4 if I remember correctly. They did up to age 15/16 and were great. They were black though, which may not be what you are looking for.

next do navy and black upto age 16
