I thought a thread on the most common teen excuses could be interesting and informative.

Such as....

The last bus never turned up, when they come home late.

DS1 told me yesterday that he didn't pick his wet towel up off the bathroom floor after his shower, because "I had to pick up DS2's towel before my shower, and I'd run out of picking-up energy"!

That actually made me LOL
