What did your 16 year old do for their birthday?

We have a 16th birthday coming up soon and the family are hoping to surprise her. She hasn't mentioned having a party or anything yet, so I'm really just looking for inspiration from you all.

Its my DDs 16th as well this year but its also the same week as DS's 18th. I have no idea what we are doing for either.
DS wasnt really interested in a 16th party at the time. DS works in the leisure centre and I was wondering about hiring the bar room, but I dont think they allow under 16s.
