my teen is using drugs how can i find out reason

Have you asked your teen?

Sometimes there isn't a reason. Perhaps try to speak to your teen? The reason may be just becuase they want to or their freinds are also experimenting. May not be any deeper than thet.
It must be a shock for you.

What do you mean by 'drugs' too, theres a lot of difference between pot and coke or heroin.

I started drinking in pubs on a regular basis when I was 16, smoked when I was doing my A Levels for a couple of years and used soft drugs on occasion. I've grown up OK, rarely drink, never smoked past the age of 19 and haven't touched anything else for at least 10 years - I am now a very very boring 'sit at home watching TV' mum!

If your teen is generally responsible, maybe you can trust that they are not doing anything too stupid. But I agree with zebra - talk to them!
