Reading Festival - who else has D there this weekend?

DS set up camp last night - this is his first time there but we live so close he could walk home if he wanted too, but we can get him if he needs a "proper" loo or shower at some point! Grin

Looking at the clouds he is going to get damp. His decent tent was stolen at V last weekend so he is using a freebie give-away tent (from V) as didn't want to spend money on another one....

It is so funny watching the wellie clad, beer carrying youth descend on the town every year. DO you have someone here too?

DS got back an hour ago and had a fantastic time. He's filthy and hasn't done a poo for 3 days as it was a 40 minute walk to the loos. Apparently the next site along had a sort of poo pit which they threw petrol over and set alight Hmm

Very happy, tired and dirty lad Smile

Grin at the no poo... my daughters both assure me they hang on for four days rather than go!

Mine arrived back today, filthy, aching all over, covered in bruises from crowd surfing Shock and DD2 has a henna tattoo of a Harry Potter scar on her forehead which is going to look great when she has to go to work this week... (she said it seemed a good idea at the (drunken) time!!

They said it was the best yet.. (DD1 has been 4 times now so quite a veteran!)

Unbelievably they showered had quick naps and are out with friends tonight. The stamina of youth!!
