On Thursday Ds chose a top in Top Man and I bought if for him when I went to the shopping centre later in the day.
He tried it on again at home a couple of times but didnt actually wear it so all tags on etc.
This morning he took the top back to top man and exchanged it for another top. Then went back and told them he had changed his mind and wanted the original top back albeit he got one from the shop floor.
He planned this on purpose so he would have the same top, same size but untried by him.
He has then come home and washed the top - again all part of his over all plan.

Only now after drying the top, will he feel able to wear it out to meet up with his friends. He's 16.

I get it. He doesn't know what's acceptable with his peer group. They all want to be cool & cutting edge; nobody wants to be a geek who stands out. Completely contradictory!
