DD sleepover at boyfriend's house

DD (17) currently studying hard for AS levels wants to sleepover at boyfriend's house tonight. They've been together a couple of months, we've had "the talk" and she says they're not at that stage yet - so why am I a bit hesitant? Come and slap me with a wet fish and tell me to pull myself together.

Wet fish on its way. But I know I'll be having kittens when my dds start this sort of thing in a few years.

I have a DDs of 17 and 18 and I would, and do. If they're going to get down to the nitty gritty (and they are), I'd rather it was under my roof or their boyfriend's roof. Both mine have been with their boyfriends for a couple of years now, so we're further down the line.

DD3, on the other hand, is only 3 and will be locked up.

Pulled myself together & she's gone - thanks for the hand-holding :)

mems maybe the reason why you were a 'bit hesitant' was you are judging by how you behaved at 17? I say that because that's what I did!

Trust her, my DD did and said exactly same - with no problems whatsoever. She told me when they had finally slept together and I was overwhelmed with how special it was for both of them (unlike my first time in the back of a Ford Cortina!)

P.S. It's hard letting them go isn't it xx
