18 Year old Son needs a Bone Marrow Transplant.

Dear Mumsnetters,
this may not be the corrrect place to post this but I need your help!

A week before Christmas our 18 year old Son was diagnosed with a condition called Aplastic Anaemia, a failure of the bone marrow to produce Red blood cells, White blood cells and Platelets...... in the weeks leading up to his diagnosis I had thought he was being a lazy so and so as he was always sleeping!!!!!
The only cure will be with a Bone Marrow transplant.

Thank you all so very very much for your kind words and support...... I've just spent the last hour sending emails to some of the Radio 2 presenters to spread the word!!!

My Son thinks I'm OTT as well as a bit mad.... but as a Mum you just do anything you can!
