Hello,

Any tips on how not to worryor be anxious about my sons social life - his social life/drinking alcohol seems to be his priority over study.

You just have to take the view he is an adult. It is up to him. You have no control. If he fails then he learns the hard way.

Sorry-not much help. If you want to stop worrying throw yourself into something that takes a lot of thought and time.

It is one of the difficult parts of having an adult child, there is nothing you can do other than hope he has enough maturity to attend lectures and seminars, hand in coursework and revise for exams whilst drinking himself senseless and succumbing to all the temptations on offer.
The same with worrying about if he's eating properly or managing his money.
Sometimes, you have to see if they will fly or fall and there's nothing you can do other than be supportive and proud, or help pick up the pieces depending on the outcome.

Not easy-by far the hardest part of parenting IMO.
