what can I do? For the last 8 months Ed has been going out with a really nice lad. They had talked about getting a flat together just 10 days ago. Now this w/e she has broken up with him and got in touch with her ex. He is bad news- they were together for 18 months. He treated her like crap for the last 6-8 months- took her money, cheated on her, didn't let her see her friends, wouldn't let have any boys as friends on Facebook- you get the picture.
When she split we were relieved as you would imagine. She said he was a loser and we thought that was that.
Since they split he has been arrested for stealing a car, he does steroids and is just a horrible person.
She has shouted and screamed at me that she can do what she wants etc and she will leave if we keep on at her.
She is doing an Apprenticeship at a GP surgery and is doing well and enjoys it. But she only earns £450 a month so can't afford anywhere on her on.
This horrible lad lives with his mum- not sure if he has a job but think he does.
Have been really upset- why dump a lovely lad who last week you viewed a flat with to go back to a violent controlling lying cheating scumbag?
Have no idea where she will go if she decides to leave- his mum ( who is seriously an evil c*w) apparently is furious her darling son is in touch with my Ed again- probably the first time I have ever had something we agree on! So she can't go there!
Do I just it back and wait - dh and I have already told her we wont let this lad back in the house under any circumstances.
Help - and sorry it's got so long!
