We're going to a smart wedding in a country hotel in March and the dress code is morning/lounge suit. Trouble is, my lovely dd (nearly 13) is absolutely adamant that she will not wear a dress or skirt. She lives in scruffy jeans and black tee-shirts. I'm planning to take her shopping at half-term to try and persuade her to try wearing something a bit more feminine but I'm dreading it already! We can both be very stubborn so I know I'm going to need to compromise here. Please has anyone got any good ideas?
