My twins generally find things to do with friends, pictures, tennis, football etc

But at their age I was going to little run discos in our church - had great memories from these nights.

Now there is noting for the kids to do my way - weekends seem so boring for them.

They sometimes go to an evening in - but its only a handful of parents that allow this and its not often tbh.

I feel sorry for these kids...just wondering what your kids do or dont do!!

Similar really - more sport activities in the summer, but in winter its bowling / cinema (expensive) or other people's houses.

I won't let mine roam the streets / hang round park etc although he does do Cadets which keeps him busy two nights a week.

I remember the little church discos that we had in our village too - we would all down cider in the churchyard before, the girls would go and dance while the boys stood round looking cool, until someone threw up and then we'd all go home and snog whoever we could on the way happy days Grin

Have you thought about Scouts ?
They do some pretty cool things these days - plus the camps of course.

they already do a youth club on a Tuesday night, but they dont really extend anything at all at the weekends.

I dont want them just hanging around the streets at all.

Just feel like they are abit lost iyswim x
