and i am panicking!
im worried because i have endometriosis, as did my mum and my nan.
now i know from my experience that when i started i had literally a smear of goop in my underwear. my daughter had a river! it was dark reddy brown and there was loads of it.
is there a chance she will also develop endo? i hope not, its awful for an adult but for a kid would be terrible.
dd is 12 in 2 weeks, and i know i should have the talk with her now about how she could get pregnant etc...its not a problem its just that i look at her and see my newborn baby lol.....how did she get so grown up so blooming quickly?

IIWY, I'd repost this in the health section. I imagine your DDs chances of having endometriosis are heightened considering the familty history.
I imagine she knows she can get pregnant now, although it wasn't the first thing that crossed my mind when I started.
I am wondering how my DD grew so much in 10.5 years. Although she is still a little girl, she has become much more grown up in the last fortnight or so.

First I'd say don't panic, no history of em here, but DD1 had quite heavy and very painful periods to start with and missed the odd day off school. After 4/6 months she stopped feeling anything like as ill.
Her periods are heavier than mine, as far as I can tell. 18 months after starting she clearly just gets on with it and I take the mini pill which is great for reducing periods to a trickleGrin
I too look at this curvy size 12, 5'6" thirteen year old, who wears bigger shoes and is taller than me, and wonder where did my little girl go. Then she'll start chattering away to me the way she always has and this growing up stuff isn't all bad.
