Everyone said that teenagers are worse than babies (sleepless nights?), but I'm sitting here waiting for my dds to get back home, go to bed and go to sleep ... and Santa has to wait for a loooong time before he can come and fill their stockings (which are all at the bottom of their beds!)

At least my teenagers are home - but I'm waiting for them to sleep. Funny that - they seem to spend most of their lives asleep but not now when I want them to. Teenagers eh????

... well, they've been home for 10 minutes now, and are in bed. They've learnt, over the years, to pretend to be asleep when Santa comes!! At least they won't be scrabbling at my door at 5.00am to open presents, they'll be having a lie-in like normal teenagers.

Yours up yet prisoner?? ds surfaced at 10.30am and dd at 11.15 - but she'd raided her stocking by 6am. Now she's slumped in front of the tv - despite the new gadgets, games etc!
We are working today - ds is barman and I'm waiting impatiently for the diners!

Yep, hellsbells, they were up at 9.15am!! Have had brilliant day, too much chocolate and, because I'm immeasurably old, I fell asleep in front of "Toy Story 2"
