16 year old lonely daughter is desperate to make friends she has just started college and made new friends there but they live to far away from us she is pretty shy all she wants are friends her own age we live in st7 area
can anybody please help

Does she add all her new friends from college on facebook. fb is a lifeline for my daughter as we are rural and no friends in the village where we live.
Can your dd suggest a shopping trip to a few, or pizza hut. She might be shy but once she has made the effort then it will boost her confidence, any youth clubs around, what about her old friends from school?

dont think she could be bothered with fb shopping trip sounds a good idea she does go to saint johns ambulance every thursday and she did go to a special school as she had eplipsy but she just wants to forget about school life and concentrate on college which she only attends 3 days a week when she asks others from st johns if they would like to meet up on a saturdays they always say no dont know if its because she has nothing in common with them or they just dont like her but on a positive note somebody at college as asked her on a date which she seems scared to accept i just dont know what to do and how to help her
