Worried about DD's fast developing Dome Skull. Help Needed!

My DD (16) seems to have developed a dome skull. I'm not sure what to do about it. Has anybody else noticed a similar development in their offspring, if so, how did you deal with it?

(my husband also had a Dome Skull phase when in his teens, could this be related?) Any help would be great.

Mumsnet itself is riddled with sufferers of Big Headed Syndrome (BHS). Ironically, they generally claim to shop at John Lewis.

Did Pea Head Syndrome used to be known as Vegetable Head Syndrome, back in the eighties and nineties, replaced by Domehead Vegetable Disease?

Was it also Broadbean Edamame Torticollis And Motion-Altered Xenohead?

hi all
i'd like to redirect everyones attention back to Dome Skull. Whilst i'm pleased this little known condition can be promoted somewhat with the use of mumsnet as a platform, contrary to popular opinion this is not in fact a joke.
though i have found several photos amusing, my DDs will live through their teenager years with this very real and immediate condition.
consult your GP if you need to find out more. if this proves to be to little avail i strongly recommend reference to a specialist, if only to put your mind at ease.

Can I just check - When I wrap my teen's head in clingfilm do I need to leave nose and mouth holes? or do I just wrap and go?

Paschaelina · 29/07/2011 22:32

See post themildmanneredjanitor Fri 29-Jul-11 12:27:21 for an example, Malvapoeding

Malvapoeding · 29/07/2011 22:38

I couldn't open the links on my phone for some odd reason but will now get off my butt and go downstairs for my laptop :)
