managed to agree to all sept eyebrow. so comprimise there. i did insist on being there when he has his nipple pierced - he said he wants his girlfriend - i said lets have a family day out, i need to see the pain. will make me feel better

Only 13 more years until I have to take ds to have his nipple pierced. I don't think I will ever be ready for that!

LOL at nipple piercing. After being pestered continuously for about 6 months to allow me to let 16yr old DS get his lip pierced ( and me refusing ) he has now said he doaesn@t want it done cos everyone has it. Just a little bit scared what he is going to ask for next!

It's charming isn't it - this fashion for self mutilation. DSS came home with his tongue pierced during the summer holidays - yuk, mind you it was quite funny taking the p1ss out of him for not being able to speak for a week. His dad made him remove it when he started back at school - so he went through all the pain and discomfort for nothing .My only consolation for you is that the piercings can be removed and the holes can heal over. A tatoo is with you for life or until it is lasered off.

becuase people can see the eyebrow. it makes him look ever more arrestable ( by the police) and i dont like it cos it messes up his beautiful face and would make him look like a rum bugger.

I remember my friend telling me how they did her nipple piercings. Something about a kebab skewer... I stopped listening!

Wont let my 15 year old dd have her belly button pierced or a second set of ear holes - once is enough. Luckily she is not kicking up too much fuss.
