Is anyone else suffering from empty nest feelings before they've even left home? No 1 son in the middle of A levels and due to go to Uni in the autumn, which I completely support, it being a great time of your life but I have just busrt into tears in the train into work (how embarrasing?!) at the thought of him going!

Im the opposite.. Dd goes in two weeks and I can't wait!!! We get on, she's fun and not any trouble..but I need there just to be DS and I for a while.
He's doing A levels and will then probably work a long long long way away Grin

I'm planning a brand new life then which I'm really excited about... Moving away from where I've lived for over 30 years and doing something totally different.
So no time for being upset.

Liz I am disabled too!! And cannot work anymore and most of my friends work full time!! Too much time on your hands is a dangerous thing isn't it. We can't busy ourselves to take our mind off things. We can only sit then choose something which is meaningful activity to us etc (from the lips of my home OT)! And I also have depression!!

One more thing Liz unless 1968 is just a random number we have something else in common!!
