Does anyone know of any complications that can arise during puberty?

Does anyone know of any complications that can occur during puberty? (not acne). Its for an assignment and I'm really struggling with this bit! all I keep getting is acne and moodswings! I need something a bit more "physical".

If anyone knows of anything, if you can just give me the name of the condition, I'll research the rest!

there is a condition where girls start puberty very early, not sure name of it
i guess some girls fail to start their periods (or delayed)

Endometriosis can manifest once a girl starts puberty. It's continues until menopause, not specific to pubescence, though..

Lots of endocrine conditions are probably affected by puberty.

If you have a connective tissue disorder, such as hypermobility syndrome, that often manifests itself, or becomes worse, with puberty: so children who already have this condition but may not know it start developing joint pains.

All can develop or become worse during puberty

scoliosis but it's already been said. I have the opposite of sort of hypermobility - my conective tissues are always tight which causes pain, came on during puberty - was so supple before then.

And another "heel spurs" don't know the proper name got extra bone growth on the backs of my heels had to have them removed.

My brother did not go through puberty until he was 19 poor bloke.

He was so very embarassed at looking and sounding like a young boy whilst doing his A levels that he bacame painfully shy. He found taking a shower after gym so humiliating he just didn't bother. Doc said if nothing happens in a year we'll look into medical issues. Then he grew rapidly from 5'7' to 6'2'' in about 6 months, voice broke, got acne so badly he ended up on Roacutane (retin A treatment) and he got growing pains so badly he was in agony (became so bad was diagnosed with Osgood Schlatter syndrome or something) and ended up in a wheelchair for few weeks.

He really suffered.
