Good evening to all

unfortunately i am at my wits end with my eldest daughter, tammy.

it all started around 5 months ago when i found out my DD was smoking "green" which i found out was dope/weed.

obviously i was devastated but i gave her a heart to heart and and we had a cry....then a laugh

tonight i over heard my DD and pals at the front door, she thought i was in the shower when in fact i'd just gone to the toilet.

i heard her being offered "blues" and "pink smokes"

are these 2 as bad/worse than "green" ive done a bit of research but im not very clued up on classed drugs etc.

Regards, Wilma.

I think blues are valium but my teens don't know what pink smokes are.
Have you tried contacting any teen support services?

it doesn't matter what colour they are - drugs are drugs full stop. don't get drawn into stuff like cannabis not being addictive etc - it might not be in a medical sense of the word but it is in a mental sense - what I mean is that if your DD can't say no to her so called mates then you need to talk her about standing up for herself and not following the crowd. also cannabis these days are mixed with other crap such as resins that it can be alot more potent than what was available even 10 yrs ago. seek professional help - the Talk Frank is a internet and phone based source of support - talk to them, they have really great advisers who tells it like it is. google them.

Agree with tinkgirl - dd has to learn about standing up for herself. From my own past experience growing up, it's important to keep communication open with DD, don't meet her drama with your own. Seek advice from one of the many agencies out there. Good luck.
