Ones where pop ads come up everywhere

OP posts:
EARCphilip · 17/04/2026 13:38

This one. It’s pretty much unusable unless you have an adblocker in place.
Also pretty much every newspaper/magazine website, it’s paragraph, Ad, paragraph, Ad, paragraph, Ad… and so on.

chuggabo · 17/04/2026 13:43

Boots and Superdrug. Also my local news site for Nottingham

British Airways! So slow

tnorfotkcab · 17/04/2026 13:46

mumsnet lol

fluffiphlox · 17/04/2026 13:48

Any local paper one.

Pastit12 · 17/04/2026 13:49

Uniqlo and the ones usually fashion where you have to click on a pop up ad with your email details they usually offer % off for you first order
There is one you can’t get into the site if you don’t do this can’t remember which one

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 17/04/2026 13:50

Citylink buses.
Crashes every five minutes.
The site, not the buses.
Grin

Boots Website is fit for the bin, I hate it.

Yep.

YoohooPoo · 17/04/2026 13:59

Lush has the worst website I’ve ever had the misfortune of using. Loads, then it doesn’t load, then popups appear for items you didn’t click on, then you try to search for something and it has a meltdown.

Any city news site like Liverpool Echo is horrendous and you can’t even get through half a page without clicking on “miracle cure” ads by accident.

begonefoulclutter · 17/04/2026 14:00

Currently - Warners Hotels. You can't find the information you are looking for in a logical place and it leads you down a pile of blind alleys which at the end, tell you to go back to where you already were, that instructed you to go down the blind alley in the first place. Dreadful. Whoever designed it needs a short, sharp kick up the fundament.

Zoopla - it thinks I am a robot and won't let me on at all.

RHS - if it got any slower it would be going backwards.

It’s terrible. Why can’t they fix it? I have given up a few times and bought from elsewhere. I can’t be the only one so they must be losing money.

NewGirlInTown · 17/04/2026 15:14

Another one voting for Boots.
They would get SO much money from me if their website was functional.

latetothefisting · 17/04/2026 15:23

Another one who agrees with boots. Website and app both equally rubbish.

Manifesto · 17/04/2026 15:25

Boots. Every time.

Lomonald · 17/04/2026 18:40

Maybe someone from Boots will see this and sort it out 😀

goingtotown · 17/04/2026 20:52

Theres a variant of this thread quite frequently.
Boots has been mentioned for a good few years. No idea why they don’t sort out the issues ( disclaimer; I have never had a problem so buying differently to other people).

Yes to local news sources. Any Chinese site with stuff for pennies I get suckered in but by the time I’ve unclicked offers, roulette wheels, sign up deals etc I’ve remembered they are immoral, environmentally terrible and closed the page

longtompot · 18/04/2026 15:08
