Sky TV and internet package - rip off! Any suggestions?

Hi all

we have a sky tv and internet package which has become so expensive! Got them down to £57/month but it’s essentially removed all “sky” channels and only really what’s on freeview I think. The only benefit I can see is the ability to record?
moving house soon and I want to reassess what we go for - should just stick with normal freeview that’s built in to a smart tv? Is that how it works?! We have one brand new tv but can’t seem to get channels on it via freeview but I think it’s cos our aerial in the loft is dodgy and I’m not going to start fixing it now when moving!

any advice would be appreciated!thanks

Hi OP

NOW TV is sky content and is £10 pm. when you cancel they will offer you a deal for six months half price, you can add Boost to it to remove ads, i pay a deal of an extra £2 pm for this and my TV is £4 pm these are both deal prices.
you can sign up for a month and that includes a 7 day free trial, you can add cinema package and sport as and when you like. My broadband with NOW is £28 per month but that’s just gone up.
here is a link about NOW

It looks as though they are doing a half price deal at the moment in that link

You need to go on comparison sites to check bundles, pricing and availability (where you currently live and also the new property, not worth signing up only to have to cancel partway through the contract when you move if your new BB provider does not cover that area).

We have been with BT for yonks.
900Mb full fibre BB, landline, BT TV (Inc box).
We pay £33/M as a "special deal", whenever it is due to end I ring up and they extend it .

Or would you consider FreeSat, it uses the same dish as Sky and your TV might be compatible, or you can buy a Freesat recording box?

Then look for a separate internet deal?
