Looking for an alternative to Google for my phone.

Looking for a good alternative to Google on my phone , the reason is that all my Google searches come up on my husbands phone and it's driving me crazy. I have nothing g to hide, but I still don't want home seeing my searches. We share in email, but I'm not signed in on my phone so don't know why it does it. He also gets all my photos somehow too , which is another issue. Any help appreciated.

He's getting your photos too? Are you uploading them somewhere?

No these are just boring photos, they come up when his phone does that thing of showing memories from a year ago.

Set up a separate Google account and use it for browsing only?

Is you phone running android? That is built by google and will link everything to your google account.

do you have your own gmail address separate to your husbands? Or might your phone be set up linked to his email?

have you been into the google privacy settings to control what gets shared where?

I suspect it is the email sharing that is the primary problem because everything is linked to your email so google thinks you & dh are one person if you have one email. Set up your own separate email and then configure the phone to work with that.

Thank you, that explains a lot, had same shared email since email began!!!! But I will set up a new email for Google, as I say no secrets but slightly annoying. I dont get his photos though, thank goodness.
