Who can hook up to external devices for me?

Since getting a couple of soundbars I cannot get dvd player in living room or Blu-ray player in bedroom to work. Bedroom is also hooked up to virgin 360 box , living room is hooked up to TiVo. Before getting the two soundbars the dvd players worked fine. The soundbars are working well, but I cannot figure out how to use my dvd and bluray, how to connect them, I have been watching endless instructions on YouTube but to no avail. Where would I find an expert to set them up? TIA

Your Bluray should have an HDMI cable to connect to the TV, the sound bar will connect by HDMI as well & can plug in by USB for power.

Thank you Nat6999. I have tried everything (over three years!) nothing has worked. I bought extra hdmi cables, only to be disappointed. I have the same problem in both rooms, so it is something I have not done correctly. I need to to get someone in, but I don’t know who….

Quite often threre's a setting in the TV to switch between internal and external speakers.
