Sony headphones not connecting to anything!

I bought a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones during the summer. I connected them to my (android) tablet and iPhone easily enough. I went on holidays with all devices and didn't need to use my headphones until the return trip when they refused to acknowledge my tablet. They did connect to my phone but point blank refuse to acknowledge the tablet.

I have tried disconnecting ALL devices and reconnecting with all fully charged (disconnected iPhone out of the room!)

No joy. Mostly that's fine- I have other ear buds for my tablet. But these were expensive and I would like to be able to switch between devices without having to pack numerous listening aids too.

Tonight I disconnected my iPhone from Sony headphones in an attempt to connect with the tablet and now ALL devices are ignoring/being ignored by Sony headphones!! Including previously affable iPhone.

Should I give up on the Sony Headphones???
Are they faulty??
Am I faulty?

Are you certain that you have charged them completely - is there a tiny LED that indicated that they are charged? I have some wireless earbuds which I use a lot in the winter when walking the dog - saves having to find a way to thread the cable from my phone or mp3 player from a pocket etc. When I have them in I have to power them up first and as I do that there is a voice that says "power on" (and it also says "power off" when I turn them off) - it also says "Your device is connected" as either my phone or mp3 player connects. Do you headphones do this? My wireless earbuds have a LED that is red while charging but it turns blue when fully charged and it's a really tiny LED.

I'm tempted to say that they sound faulty.

You have to make sure Bluetooth is switched on on your device and then select which device it connects to - maybe your devices are automatically connecting to other devices that you connect them to instead of your headphones.

Once your headphones are definitely on you could try switching bluetooth off on your device and then back on again to see if you get the option to select your headphones as the device to connect to.

Surely you can get them replaced inside a year if they aren't working?

I would try deleting the headphones frome the Bluetooth device lists on your tablet etc... and try to connect them from scratch.
