Can anyone help me, in the most layman's terms, how do I get rid of Ubuntu from an old pc and put windows on, I have no discs or software to go with the pc. Thanks 🙏🏻

How old is the PC? Roughly what is the spec?

Download a windows install image and burn it to disc or usb, then boot to it and install.

Whether or not you'll be able to license/activate it with the current configuration is a different matter.

You can get genuine install media from Microsoft website.

@ThereIsIron it's about 12 years old, was my Dad's. He put Ubuntu on it years ago and now I don't know how to revert it.

@Mooselaurels if I purchase genuine Microsoft so I just put the disc in, follow the instructions and it will override the Ubuntu? I'm sorry if these questions sound silly!

You don't need to buy Windows on disc. You can download the windows installer onto a USB for free. Then you can install windows on the old PC. You can then pay for a windows activation product code and just activate windows with that code.
