It's a strange request, but I'd like some advice regarding walkie talkies for kids.
I recently separated from my wife, and we have got two small kids. We have joint custody, and the kids seem to be handling it well so far, however they are still adjusting to us living in different houses.
I thought it would be a nice idea to get them a set of walkie talkies (one for each house), so that they can contact one of us when they are staying with the other.
The houses are just over 1km apart, but we live in a fairly densely populated city. So they would need to be reasonably powerful, but also still be child friendly. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
