Forgotten Apple ID - 3 weeks before apple will call with new one

My Dds phone was lost/stolen and she could not remember her Apple ID.

my tel must be some sort of recovery back up tel now linked as they will call me with a new one - but not for 3 weeks according to the email.
is there anything else we can do this is not really workable and she is not getting all messages etc.
tbh I am not sure how all this works - she is using an old phone and new sim and has disabled old sim on missing phone but needs the Apple ID to map over stuff to new sim Same number ?
if anyone has any ideas or suggestions ?

Has she used it in a IPad or another device as it will be stored in there ?

My Apple ID had always been email address - have you tried hers ?

Sorry - It is the password for her Apple ID she needs. She has her email address.
on any other system / bank app etc if we need to reset things get reminders they are set to us via text but this seems to require an phone call in 3 weeks - it seems crazy it will take so long.
