My Huawei is too slow

I can't work out which Huawei since the psmart supports Google play.
I like Huawei phones and have much preferred them to Samsung ones.

I need 6gb ram or more I think, my current phone has 3gb.
Also think 128gb memory would suffice?

I like to buy them outright.
Unlocked.

Not too big.

Any ideas to branch out.

Under £200 preferably.

Xiaomi/Poco? DCs have them and seem fine.

Look at the Samsung A series, ds had one at the same time as I had the top of the range & it was just as good as mine.

Don't know that brand really but I'd suggest going to a phone shops and see which devices get recommended in more than one place. There are a few brands out there trying to make a name for themselves in the market to rival Samsing and the units are priced quite a bit cheaper than a Samsung but same ish spec. Eg Honor / Nothing. Most of the latest releases are £500+ these days for Apple or Samsung so I think you need to avoid those brands and maybe look at older phones to get something for £200.

I went from hawaei to OPPO and so like the camera is not as good and there is no extra external storage.

  • and so far like it but the camera is not as good

I have a Poco & it's been brilliant. 2.5 years and never a glitch. The battery still lasts all day, the camera is good.

Hello, this thread dropped off my list.

Thanks for the suggestions. I know Huawei have some of the best cameras.

Ok Samsung a
Poco and Xia thingy.

I've got a Samsung 9, think it was about £250 a few years ago from music magpie so will be cheaper now. great phone, reliable, photos good. not sure about memory but you can add a sim card.

start looking at refurbished phones on music magpie and giff gaff and make sure you filter for unlocked.

Batcountry8 · 14/12/2022 16:39

Good idea yes.
Thanks hadn't thought of looking there.

A few Honors at that price point with 6gb+ ram

Batcountry8 · 14/12/2022 18:42

Ah ok interesting, so Honor have moved away from Huawei recently and have Google I think?

Ok looking like newer ones don't support Google.

Hmm
