Could anyone help re new router and smart plugs not working now please?

Hi there, I wonder if anyone could help me please? We’ve just received a new router and new wi fi password from Sky. We have smart plugs, and we can’t get them to work now 😳. It’s driving me silly! Could anyone talk me through it please? I’ve googled lots but it’s not making sense to this technophobe! Thanking you in advance :-)

You'll probably need to split the 5ghz and 2.4ghz bands. You'll need to log in to your router to do it and give a new SSID to the split band. I've got a Sky router and just used the same SSID, but added 5GHZ to the end of it for the 5Ghz band.
